Hi - my name is Judith Billig and I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, close to Ames Lake, Washington.

I was born and raised in Germany and we moved to the United States end of March 2006, after having lived for more than seven years in New Zealand.

My funny and crazy Belgian husband Didier is not only a Computer Geek, but also a passionate Beer Brewer (hey, no surprise here - I told you he's from Belgium).

We married in October 2002 and in the picture you see our 2 year old daughter, Charlotte Kyra. (Well, to be honest - on this photo she was only one year old).

Originally I started to design jewelry using mainly sterling silver, semiprecious stones and Swarovski crystals. My designs found lots of friends and customers, and I set up my own showcase at Craft World in Auckland, NZ.

Once I got hooked on jewelry, it was only a short step for me to get obsessed with beads and the ancient art of Lampworking.

I set up my own lampworking studio in 2006 after attending a few classes at Bellevue Community College. The "temporary" studio is located in one of the spare garages. However I am planning to remodel our roomy garden house at some point and move my studio into these new surroundings.

After much encouragement from my family and friends, I am now starting to sell my lampwork beads through Ebay, JustBeads and my own webpage.
